The winds and percussion section of the Symphony Orchestra of India present an electrifying programme celebrating colour, rhythm and brilliance.
From the noble Chorale of Gustav Holst’s The Planets and the sparkling Marche from Sergei Prokofiev’s The Love for Three Oranges, to a vibrant Classic Mashup, the evening moves through drama and playfulness. The passion of Arturo Márquez’s Danzón No. 2 and the evocative Memorias by Pedro Iturralde lead to a grand finale with Modest Mussorgsky’s Pictures from an Exhibition.
