The NCPA presents the 30th edition of Artie’s Festival this month. The programming for the festival is always curated by Gauthier Herrmann and NCPA Chairman Mr. Khushroo N. Suntook. It will include well-known masterpieces, relatively lesser-known music and reductions of famous orchestral works.

Artie’s Festival, founded at the NCPA in Mumbai in 2008, has since toured the Gulf, South East Asia, and Europe. Known for inventive programming, the ensemble performs chamber masterpieces alongside arrangements of symphonic works—memorable highlights include Bruckner’s 7th and Mahler’s 4th with Dame Felicity Lott.

In this edition, Artie’s launches a new series called "Mostly Beethoven" which begins the Beethoven quartet cycles.
